Having just purchased his dream car my client was searching for the best car detailing and ceramic coating services in the Shropshire, West Midlands area before coming across AutoWerX Detailing's website and portfolio. After lengthy discussions on the best way to protect a new car, my client booked for my New Car Detail and IGL Kenzo Ceramic Coating package.
To start the wash and decontamination process, a safe wash and soak in Bilt Hamber Auto-foam to loosen surface dirt.
A three bucket wash is then completed with lambswool wash mitts and all road tar and iron filings are removed.
Once washed and safely dried, the paintwork is inspected and a single stage machine polish is performed to increase gloss levels and ensure the paintwork is perfect before applying any ceramic coatings. Look at the crisp white finish achieved from polishing..
After a paintwork wipe down to remove all oils, IGL Kenzo Ceramic Coating is then applied to the paintwork. This is a two part coating system consisting of a hard base coat, and a hydrophobic, glossy top coat. Please see the completed pictures at the end of the blog.
The alloy wheels were then removed from the car and ceramic coated with IGL EcoCoat Wheel. This process forms a hard barrier over the wheels which is incredibly heat resistant. The heavy brake-dust from the Brembo brakes will now not stick to the surface, and in return the wheels will be much easier to clean during the wash process.
The engine bay was then cleaned and dressed to ensure it stayed looking presentable.
As standard, the interior is treated to a fabric protection sealant on all floor matts, upholstery and seats. This allows any spillages and general dirt to be dealt with easily.
Here are some completed pictures of the Type R after the coating has cured and all of the finishing details had been completed!
