Audi R8 Paint Protection Film - SunTek Self Healing PPF

October 10, 2016

Our sister company AUTOFILM Solutions spent 50+ man hours installing SunTek Self Healing Paint Protection Film to this stunning Audi R8 V10+. The car was going to be regularly taken on track by the owner so the Advanced Front End package was chosen.

We used SunTek PPF which is a very thick and glossy film leaving and almost invisible installation. There is no change to the vehicles appearance other than increased gloss levels and a crisp finish.

We safely prepared the car during our multi-step wash process which included a two bucket method safe wash, tar, fallout and clay bar treatment.

Once all road grime, tar, fallout and contaminants were removed we machine polished each panel that was going to receive PPF application.

We applied SunTek Self Healing film to the:

Full Bonnet (with wrapped edges for a cleaner more invisible install)
Front Bumper
Full Wings
Wing Mirrors
Side Skirts
Front of Rear Arches
Carbon Side Wings
A Pillars and front of Roof.

Once the film had been applied we carried out a full detailed valet of the Audi R8 and sealed the new paint protection film with SiRamik SC-Mist for added gloss and protection. Here are the end results after our hard work:
